From the statements of His eminence Grand Ayatollah Mousavi Ardebili:
"I read a tradition for you about the educational role and mission in family. Suleiman ibn Khaled who was one the companions of Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said: One day I told Imam Sadiq (a.s.): Oh son of the Prophet (Peace be upon him)! I have a great influence of words among my family; because I set up my relationships with my family members in accordance with your teachings and guidelines; in this regard, my father, my mother, my grandfather, my grandmother, my maternal aunt and my maternal uncle respect me very much.
If I propose my religion to the members of my family, they will accept my invitation out of this respect. From your viewpoint, do I invite them to the religion and teachings of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.)?
Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said: Sure you do, because if you feel responsibility about your own fate, you will be responsible towards your family and you have to try to obey Allah with correct education, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, suggestion, training, patience and resistance and save yourself and themselves from the hell and punishment of Allah.
In statement of this tradition, the late Majlisi in Bihar al-Anwar said: Although enjoining the good and forbidding the evil is necessary for all, but according to this tradition, enjoining the good and forbidding the evil should be started from the family. Relatives and relatives-in-law are in priority in this matter."
